Being one of the premium nuts and bolts providers in Victoria, we need a system that is not only robust, but can also meet our high demands. Having servers and infrastructure on-site was becoming quite costly and not the way the world seems to be going today.
We needed a system that was not only central but accessible from anywhere, as the company and its management staff started to need more access remotely.
After knowing Trevor from vCloud for over 20 years and watching him and his idea of what cloud computing has evolved to, we took the next step by moving to the vCloud Cloud Network.
This posed some challenges. Firstly, our staff are used to using a system that is more legacy based, it’s a MS-DOS based application running on a Microsoft Windows 32-Bit platform. So, the first challenge was to see if this legacy solution could work in the cloud.
